Mounting, honestly.

The mount attaches to the wall and the print attaches to the mount. That means the piece you handle day to day comes off cleanly, while the mount stays where you put it.

Mount on a clean, dry, smooth interior surface, press firmly and let the adhesive set before attaching the print. Give freshly painted walls several weeks to cure first. We describe mounting in practical terms rather than promising every wall behaves the same way, because paint, primer and age all change the result.

How it works FAQ

How is a PlaqD mounted?
Each order ships with the PlaqD mounting system. The mount goes on the wall first and the metal print attaches to it magnetically, so the print itself is not fixed in place.
What surfaces work?
Smooth, clean, flat interior surfaces such as cured painted drywall work best. Textured, damp, dusty or freshly painted surfaces are less reliable, so let new paint cure before mounting.
How long does production take?
Every PlaqD is printed to order. Production typically takes a few business days before your order ships, and you can follow progress on the track order page.
Can I add to my wall later?
Yes. Order additional pieces at any time and add them to your existing display.
